Minuet

Days here on the ranch are a bit crazy. or at least have been for the last couple of weeks.

Nyte came to the hardest of decisions with Minuet. She had her looked at by the vet and he almost immediately said to put her down. Respecting his oppinion Nyte looked for other answers or at least possibilities. We found a local horse rescue that said that they could help her, even as bad off as she is. Though heart breaking, Nyte decided that since they would be able to treat her and give her a fighting chance, that Minuet would be donated. They had her up at the Equine hospital for almost a week giving her IV fliuds, anitibiotics and plasma. She had seriously dangerous levels of toxins.

Long story short.. She is now at the rescue and they are working on getting her better still. She looks really bad.. but they were able to get the dead skin off and the skin under that is now a healthy pink and healing. She still has a very long way to go but there is still hope.
