HOW CUTE IS SHE! Nice surprise.. I bet her mommy will be great. She finally gets to be a mom after all the false alarms/signs. Congrads to you all.. When are the other goats due to have there babies?? How many animals due you have? Also,how many more babies do you expect this new year? How often do goats come in heet. Due the dads get to be near the babies? If not, how old do the little ones need to be before they mingle with the rest of the herd? My husband & I are thinking of getting more chickens & perhaps a pig to raise. We really would like to see how hard it is to keep a cow. Fresh milk has been something we really have been thinking of having. Our problem is of course we don't have lots of $$$$$$$$$.
Chickens & pigs we've raised with no problems. Well one rooster decided he didn't want me getting the eggs. He came at me with talons at my face & arms. I knocked him down so hard but he kept coming back. Finally my other half heard me yelling came to my recue ...MY HERO...Until next time......NORTHERN STAR
