It has been a while since I posted so I figured I would drop a few lines to keep everyone up to date.
I got the pig ( scooter) slaughtered... he wieghed 615 pounds when we brougth him in and yielded 354 pounds of meat. not bad I am thinking.. I haven't tried any of the meat yet but will be this weekend so I will post on that later.
The horses are all doing great. The older two were losing wieght but I have them seperated from the rest of the herd now and they are better able to eat their meals in peace. They are doing better now.
The goats are fine.. I am pretty sure I have three does that are prego's but as they get closer I will update on that as well.
We made it through a really bad ice storm with no troubles at my house. However, Nyte's power went out and we were working on a generator with no heat at work. Things are better now though.. We have heat again at work.. YIPPEEEE...
