Friday Feb 29th Daffy went into labor and had three kids. sadly two were still born. the Third one that I have named Lucky was the smallest and it the only one still alive.. However it seems that this doe is prone to uteran infections post birthing. Her and the kid are a little sick.. but we are treating iwth antibiotic and they are on the up hill now. When he was born he and stlightly deformed back legs but they seem to be straightening out more now and he is moving a bit more..
so a very bitter sweet time for me.. rejoicing the birth of Lucky and the survival.. yet upset about the death of the other two..
Lucky is super small.. but cute as a button.
