The hand SAGA Part 3

SO I called the my PCP and told them I HAD to be seen that same day.. that I would wait in the lobby until they could see me. They made me an appointment and I was seen.
Told the Dr. everything.
Mind you I know that they don't undertand all of what I am saying.. but at least they can try to get me in with someone..
She was amazed that there had not been post op xrays or MRI's. scheduled me for an MRI and gave me something different for the pain I was having. The MRI wasn't very clear so they scheduled me for a MR Arthrogram. a contast MRI with dye, with a muscoskeletal radiologist specialist.
He does one part where you can see your hand up on the screen and he manipulates it all around and takes specific pictures at certain angles. pretty cool
after that he tells me that I have a torn ligamet and that i have a pretty bad case of ulna impaction syndrome and need surgery.
He highly recommends that I go see the best hand speicalist in the region. Guess who that is?

The Dr. I just left who released me.

I explained the journey I have been on and he was a little surprised about what had happened and then said that if I told the guy he was recommending me to that HE was sending me there that he would look at it differently.
I told him to pick someone else.. that I shouldn't have to drop names to get him to believe me that I really was hurting and had troubles.
He gave me another name at the University hospital.
Then he sends me in for the rest of the MRI, in the machine. The rest of the MRI doesn't show any more then he had found..
SO now I have an appointment next Tuesday with the new specialist.. and guess what..
MY THUMB STILL HURTS!!!!
but now there is pain I didn't have at the beginning of all of this..
There that is the long whole thing.. I have been pretty bummed out about the whole thing because it affects everything I do..I am right handed.. and doing my job, working with my animals... and doing any crafting is all pretty much a no go for now.. heck even opening a door is bad.. and it is very frustrating when I am bummed I withdraw..I just hope that they can do the surgery before the end of the year because of the insurance deductibles.. but if not .. then so be it.. I just need someone to FIX IT!!!
